As far as I can tell, I was performing the very same steps as before, but now it's being problematic. The Pi is connected to my router via wifi, and it's now hooked up with ethernet. The Pi was new and should still use pi and raspberry as defaults. Using this IP address still cannot seem to connect to the Raspberry Pi with FileZilla. I googled on what to do, and came up with a few responses I could follow now, after going through a couple walkthroughs (between here and here), I have changed eth0 in ifconfig-the inet addr reads 192.168.1.2 Now I'm trying to Connect To My Pi (step 9) as before, I wanted to use FileZilla on my Mac I went to ifconfig as mentioned, but there was no IP address under eth0.

I have another Raspberry Pi 3, a 32gb micro SD card, and I've followed the steps in the above walkthrough just as I had before. I told a friend what I made, now he wants me to make one for him. If the issue is with connectivity, you may benefit from switching locations (thus changing how youre getting to the server). My Pie works great, and so far I haven't had issues. Possible solutions Here is a list of possible solutions: Try using SFTP, this can sometimes resolve connectivity problems by creating a more secure connection between you and your server. I made a Raspberry Pi RetroPie for myself after much searching and finding a walkthrough I can use: link. Tl dr: i'm not great at computers, and I can only get by with in depth explanation and steps instead of just "add and it'll be fine"
